What if after the movie you took me to on our first date I followed my gut instinct and didn't go out with you again? What would I have done differently in those three years?

What if you didn't work here? Would I be happier and enjoy my job more?

Our lives no longer intersect on a daily basis as they once did. Every now and again I hear rumours of your life now. You got married, had a baby, got divorced and now are trying to find your way again. I've heard you thought I was the one that got away.

I wish you would stop fidgeting in class. And buy a new sweater vest, wearing the same one everyday is annoying. Maybe try something that isn't an Argyle pattern.

Sometimes I miss our discussions on new music albums. When I hear songs by artists you used to like I wonder what your opinions are on them now. Then I recall that you only kept me around out of convenience, until something better came along. I'm sure that if you truly considered me a friend we probably would still be in touch with one another.
